    Everyone seems to be trying to hop on the yank bandwagon. There will be loads of black Friday offers but doubt they'll be anything like in the states

    Sure they have better Saint Patricks parades than us, so maybe we should have better black Friday deals.

    i was checking it yesterday. there were some amazing deals but there was a lot of tat for sale. the couple of items i was interested in worked out only a couple of quid cheaper after the sterling conversion.

    Not much decent stuff? Are you high or something?

    There's absolutely tons of "decent stuff" on amazon at the moment. Check out the different countries, like .de .co.uk and .com.

    Not sure if you are joking or not, but I'll answer anyway. Black Friday is the day after thanks giving in the US. It's when their seasonal sales being, similar to St.Stephens day here.

    It's world famous because the deals are often insane, sometimes resulting in violent outbreaks with people fighting over stuff, or getting trampled because of the massive surge when the shops open from the cues outside.

    Be very careful what you buy, some manufacturers produce cut down models for Black Friday so they can compete on price. They don't go out of their way to advertise that it's different to the regular model. (this is the case for some tvs and the likes, not sure about other stuff)
