The next 100km audax spin will take place at on Sunday 29th November.

It's a flattish route with a climb near the start in Rathcoole, rolling quiet roads out to the Curragh, a possible coffee stop in Ballymore Eustace and the last 20km on the N81 back in to Dublin.

This is a self-supported ride, be prepared for the weather conditions. The weather forecast is for a mild, windy and showery day. No frost.

Usual time of 09:30 from the car park in St. Enda's, Sarah Curran Avenue, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. The car park closes at 4:30pm

what's the avg you guys drive on these spins?

It will vary according to numbers and the route. Last time on the Southside we averaged 24-25km but it was a flat route. There is nothing to stop you from downloading the route and just heading on if you think the speed is too slow. The weather forecast is for gales on Sunday. This is not a club spin per s, it's an opportunity to meet those of us who like long distances.

At this stage of the year I wouldn't really try anything fast by any stretch, that's exactly why I'm asking. Can't join this week but hope to do it soon enough :)
