Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Penalty there surely, whoever tackled Ludik never released before going for the ball?

That was reckless by the Toulon player, doesn't matter about intent.

    That's a card.

So we're now in a game where someone getting kicked in the head is ok.....

    Going for the ball . . .

So feckin' what!? It's massively reckless. Intent is irrelevant in the laws of the game. Why would you even say that?

Was not intentional molloy. But what is the law about hacking at the ball in a ruck?

The tip tackle in the Munster game wasn't intentional either. It was still a penalty and a yellow card. Intent is irrelevant.

Doesn't make it any less reckless.

I would hope whatawaster was only explaining the action and not defending it.

What does it mean for Ulsters chances of getting out of the group if they lose this?

I was being sarcastic/agreeing with you/being bemused with the situation

I'm fine with the decision. It was an accident. But I will check what the story is about kicking the ball at the ruck. Seems to be legal from what I've seen this year.

It means we can concentrate on the Pro 12 and that most of our players will get a breather in November.

    These kicks are no good.

If Nick Williams tries a 1 handed pick up from a ruck again awec will not be happy.

Oh damn.... that's it. Really against the run of play.
