Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know if the optional extras apply to all members of your party or just the driver. €20 for access to the Exec lounge for a car of 5 people would be very tempting..

    Scratch that. Its per person..

I hate the way the DAA buses wait at terminal one, then leave, drive around again, stop at T2. Could they not just collect from T1 like aircoach!

Its a bit of a trek from T2 to the quickpark bus..

The aircoach is not a DAA service and is providing a service to and from the airport, not around the airport, I do agree that its annoying if flying into T1 to have the extra circuit.

I tried the discount code GREYHOUND for quickpark and it's giving me a price of €38 reduced to €28. I had tried during the week and knew it wasn't as high as €38 so tried booking without the code and its €28. Bit of a scam there. Dates 23/04 to 27/04.

Got 15 days with Quickpark in July for €38, works out at 2.53 per day. DAA was going to cost €43.20.

Sound for this. 8.95 Saved with that code.

Thanks OP, saved just over €20 for 3 weeks in Sept :)

The code in the first post is still working. You'd save €11.74 in the Red carpark and €10.99 in the Blue carpark if you use it for your trip.

Used code in the first post. Didn't show any difference in the price. Maybe due to fact that I am going in April. It's charging 44€ for long term Blue car park.
Any other code please for April?

    Thanks
Would you recommend any other place for parking which is cheaper than 44€? Or if anyone got discount code for April please?

It's not that bad. A bit further than the red car park but the buses run regularly.

Booked parking in the red car park for 4 days. Was going to get the Aircoach to the airport - but that was working out at €38 (four of us), versus €22 for parking!

    Thanks OP (and others).

must be difficult for the aircoach, airport parking is just so cheap... I also never take the aircoach, despite the fact that I work a 5 minute walk from the donnybrook one, as having the convenience of car and cheap parking is too tempting...

I just used GREYHOUND on quickpark.ie and got €10 off. €23 for 8 days in December (5th to 13th). Result.

You can try QuickPark. "CINEMA" gives you 10% off.

I switched over to quick park years ago but used the red this weekend. Forgot what a jackass car park it is. Never again. It's a maze where the bus takes ages unless you get a lucky break and park near the front. Last thing you want after a long flight

  • Registered Users Posts: 880 ✭✭✭PeterDuggan

Warning: Avoid the Travelodge near Dublin Airport.

They charge €3 per person each way for the bus - or €5 if you don't bring a second(!) printout for the driver. For a couple this adds €12 (or €20) to their cost!!!

Used original code last week on the red car park and it worked a treat. Tried again today and getting message saying not valid for next trip in May.

Was going to try out Quickpark for a change but unfortunately realised they support Greyhound racing which is a big no for me. Oh well, back to full price I guess!

Saying it's no longer valid for DAA, any other codes floating around?

I got a message from DAA last week that they would be closing some car parks over the summer.. including the short term roof one near terminal 2.
This might be an offer to encourage more to use the long term parks.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 196 ✭✭karenalot

Does anyone know the difference between these 2 websites? Both seem to be run by DAA but have different landing pages

There currently at construction works on the short term car park at terminal 2, Seen cranes at it the other day, So will only be temporary

It'll be closed for a fair while as they're adding four floors to it.

Apparently summer has the lowest use of short term - less business travel, more long term trips, etc; and they've added a small surface shortterm beside it as well.

For Quickpark 'CINEMA' and 'GREYHOUND' both worked for me. Cinema gave me more of a discount.

Make sure they are capital letters!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 105 ✭✭roadster5

just used the greyhound code in capital letters and it gave me a rate of 23 euro for 8 days parking in early June instead of 33 euro's

    Nice and thanks
