Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

check the pto handclutch cable isn't stuck pulling the release bearing, clutch levers are on the lefthand side behind the steps, also check the pto lever in the cab is moving the lever on the side of the pto housing,if its something else its a strip job its a very simple setup, check the hyd pump is being driven the splines in the couplings and shaft can shear, also check the 3way valve for correct position.

take off the linkage to the pto selector lever on the left side of the pto housing you should feel it engaging if its moving the selector inside, the roll pin might have broken on that lever, you might be able to see into the pto casing by taking off the top link housing you can do it on a 990/5/6 I'm not fully sure about a 1490,
is the warning light for the hyd filter on?it mightn't be any harm to change the filter there may be another filter on the pressure line on the back just to the right of the pto housing,is the oil clean?was quick release valves kept clean when attaching? there may be dirt in the system somewhere.

pto and hyds are totally separate, the hyd pump is under the radiator driven off the crank pulley.
