Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My favorite movie resource (and i presume many other peoples) - IMDb - has had a re-design. Not a big fan of it - you're only really see the change on individual pages of movies rather than the front page. But i definitely preferred the old look. I don't know why websites are so insistent on changing what works. It's the same with metacritics at the moment - like the 'new' IMDB, I'm more reluctant to visit them because I know it's going to take me longer to get to what I want.

IMDB is a database by design. It doesn't need to be slick! Basic and effective ftw.

There is one simple change they could make that would be a huge help. Auto-focus in the search box. I'm so used to opening google and typing away I expect the same from sites especially like imdb where 9 times out of 10 I'm there to search. Scratch that probably 10 out of 10.
