Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Apparently they randomly generate codenames for operations and use countries as a moniker. For instance the police investigation into the recent media-hacking scandal was codenamed Operation Nigeria. I think it's a misunderstanding to be honest, and a senior police officer in Wales has come out and unreservedly apologised and the cops promised to review the (admittedly silly) practice. I think the police are a shower of bastards at the best of times, but I wouldn't go tarring this as a racist slur against the Irish or anything because that isn't the case here.
