An Irish Government minister was held hostage at gunpoint during a robbery at a hotel and golf resort, the Garda have confirmed.

I wonder who it is? Cue 300 Harney jokes...

This is a boring news story, if he had have been pistol whipped or shot it would be worthy of coverage,

You can guarantee he will milk this for all it´s worth though, by the 6 o´clock news he will be on saying they had the gun in his mouth telling him Ireland will never vote yes and that he bravely told them to go **** themselves.

The raiders were lucky, in America or the likes the armed Guard with the minister or US equivalent would have shot the three of them given the slightest opportunity.
