    Hi guys,
So I am trying to set a static IP on my PS3 so I can forward ports, but when I try to set it manually there is no option to go forward(save the IP), has anyone else experienced this?

Any solutions as it's very frustrating...

You want to select Custom rather than Easy.

Hey thanks for the reply. I have been trying to set it using custom but it only allows me to cancel, see screenshot imgur dot com/QzNZb66 There is no forward arrow to save the entered settings. At a loss can't find any other posts with similar problem.

What IP address are you using and what brand and model is your router?

It wont let you progress until you have a valid IP address in.

The router is an eircom zylex d1000, and the IP is 192.164.1.1 I have tried multiple 192.164.1.x to no avail. Was just having a look in the routers settings, IP and DNS are set to get automatically. Does this need to be set to manual 192.164.1.1?

Looking at the imgur pic, the problem is that you have no default router IP, thats your eircom zyxel address.
Make sure your DNS is correct too.
Possibly is the Zyxel IP also and not .254

Ooops, missed the imugur in your second post OP:(

You router does have a address on the network,192.168.1.254,you used it to log in to it.

    Try using the below settings:

    Ip Address: 192.168.1.x
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default router: 192.168.1.254
    Primary DNS:192.168.1.254
    Secondary DNS:192.168.1.254

You can leave the secondary dns empty if it lets you continue,if not enter as above.

x being the number you want to assign the PS.

EDIT: In secondary dns i put a 9 insted of an 8. I fixed it now
