    Just noticed there are 2000 guests lurking!
    Did any of you lurk before joining...and why did you?

    there are a few categories in guests, including new visitors, users who aren't logged in but have boards open and bots for search engines.

    I registered on my first day. I subscribed about a month later to have a look in S&S but I've only ever gone in once. I'm glad I subscrived thought because I see it as a way of giving something back for the thousands of hours of entertainment that Boards has provided for me!

    I lurked for a little while in the wrestling forum and stand-up forum and registered to post on the two of them (found this place while looking for discussion sites for both subjects and ended up here both times so figured I'd stay here for the convenience)

    Sub category of users not signed in would be someone who's banned from a forum and has to log out to read it.

    I wonder how many of the banned posters lurk because that's their only option.

    Also, how many lurkers we have from a certain other site mentioned here a few days ago. Board envy :D


    Any way to find out how many posters have been banned in the life time of Boards?
