unhatched eggs

The Blue Tit couple in my sent box produced 11 eggs. They all hatched within c. 12 hours apart from 2. These 2 remain intact and are 2 days behind the rest at this stage. Anyone know what the adults might do (or be able to do) with the unhatched eggs?

Sometimes they will remove the eggs after a number of days. But other times those eggs will still be in the nest after the chicks have fledged.
