Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just watched an entire series of this. It's very under rated! imagine if we had a 'bucket woman' in Ireland! what would be the social equivalent? :p

I always enjoyed this but felt that the brilliance of Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth was let down by some poor supporting actors. The actors who played Richard, Emmett and Elizabeth for instance were very weak and some of their efforts were cringe worthy. Onslo, Daisy and Rose I found were played by much stronger supporting actors.

I think yer man who plays Richard did a great job always. I agree about Emmett and Elizabeth not being great though.

I thought the guy who played Richard did a good job as well. I always thought it was part of his character to be portayed like that, and not because he was a weak actor.
