best bar in galway to watch gaa games

    Anyone got suggestions where to watch the galway v tipp game on sat 5th july.
    as i don t have sky sports looking for a bar with a bit of atmosphere.

    The river inn opposite the hospital. think it changed name but that was a nice pub.

    Mc swiggans as well, very nice pub

    It's called the Scholars Rest now. They were showing Game of Thrones every Monday on the big screen!

    Thats good if you are a fan, but not so good if you are not a fan.

    Went in for a meal one day in the river inn as it was then. very nice quiet pub.

    Whats the scholars rest like? (have they changed it much)
