Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should I get my tonsils out?

Not sure where to post this, not quite a long term illness?

Anyway, I'm bed ridden and on anti-biotics because of tonsilitis again. I've had it regularly since as long as I can remember. About once a year.

Kinda worried this time, because I only had tonsiltis back in April, now again 4 months later. Now I can put up with it, usually have one bad day of pain, gets better and then I'm fine.

Even though I've had it every year, my doctor(s) have never even mentioned getting them removed. Anyone else have experience like this? As in, should I pushing the docs to try and get a referral to have them out? Is it worth it? (as I said, I see it as an inconvenience, but health wise, would I be better off?)

Get a referral to a specialist and seek their advice, not some randomers advice from the internet (sorry if that sounds harsh, its not intended as that)

Op, no one here can answer that specific question for you.

You should speak to your GP and get referred to an ENT surgeon for a specialist opinion.
