I'm kinda realising nothing will change on Friday and Saturday nights ever as far as RTE is concerned.......

I find it very hard to watch sad stories, particularly about children, late in the evenings.... :(

Maybe it'll be a never-ending break. Similar to what they have on TV3 during Tonight With Vincent Browne.

First time I went to Edinburgh, I stayed in a B&B off the Leith Walk about 20 years ago. There was a gang of us up there for a week to watch Ireland hammer Scotland in the 5 nations as it was then.

    Nice gaff it was.

But everytime I met the landlady I told her I reckon Edinburgh Castle was gonna fall over the side of that cliff it's on any day now and slagged her off about the state of Scottish Rugby.

She wasn't too impressed - "That Castle - It's been there for 800 years and nay sign of it ta fall doon yit"

On my third morning there I noticed I was getting one less sausage and two less rashers for breakfast than the rest of the gang I was with.

So I kept my trap shut after that and didn't wind her up again. :o
