Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long before a pup can move outside to his pen and the garden alone for a few hours? The pen has a kennel in it.

    Pup is 8 weeks old.

How long is a piece of string....

There is wouldn’t be a age limit on housing outdoors. You must build up a good association with the outdoor kennel tho. Placing a food dispensing toy like the kong is good and will keep the pup entertained for some time!

The pup is much too young at the moment anyway, I would wait until the weather has warmed up a bit more. Eventhough the weathers improved it can still get pretty cold throughout the day and at that age a pup being used to being indoors will feel the cold even with a kennel.

If it's only for a few hours eg if you have to go out or to work then leaving the pup in the kitchen or somewhere tiled or with washable floors would do the same job.
