best place to buy wheels

I'm looking to get a set of wheels with a budget of 750 for my giant propel... I'm checked ribble , Merlin ,chain reaction is there anywhere else decent. Kysruim sls Campag shamal ultra are on the list

With that budget the best wheels would be a custom handbuilt set .

Mate bought ksyrium sls's from jedi sports, the new 2015 ones with the black exalith braking surface, same as the slr's for about 800 quid. They're really really nice.

Also a shop has 1 set fast forward carbon/ alloy for 1100 black and white would look the mutts nutts but I'd be maxed maxed maxed out just thinking would also need tyres!

Didn't check rose but I will now

So the 2015 sls should have the exailth braking surface

Dunno if they're also selling the regular rim version side by side but the exalith looks fab and also definitely gives better braking. I've the slr's on my bike for two years. Love them.
The dark decal'd cosmic exalith are gorgeous looking too. You're up to 1200 then though and I do find it hard to square "dearer" with "heavier".
Lumen has a point wrt aero bikes though. They're all set up for aero wheels.

Sls's come tyred and tubed at that price too. And they're fantastic tires. I only changed my oem slr tyres last week after two years and one puncture.

Sometimes Wiggle have wheels on sale.
The Campagnolo Bullet 50 (1550g) were down to 750 all winter, but are back up to over 1k now.
You could try Planet X, but the wheels are quite heavy (at 1900g).
There's also the DoneDeal option, but you'd want to inspect the wheels very closely for cracks.

Thanks mate ribble had the kysriums sls for E707 went to pull the trigger only shimano all sold out

Cyclestore 855 bit of a difference but there on the rack ready to go

There carbon I race on them with no issues at all get up to speed no problem and hold it well IMO there the best your going to get at your budget

I have a rear 404 which is the older version of these and they ain't that heavy, handle great and the hubs are like silk. Great price too

I got cosmic carbones but needed a shimano free they look the biz but no whrinnning noise actually nothing when free wheeling . Any ideas
