Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Our family are heading for Fanore this June bank holiday weekend and I was hoping for some guides on fishing spots.

    I'll be fishing on my own and soemtimes with the kids.
    I won't have bait and would like to target pollock and wrasse on small soft plastics.

    Any suggestions?

    Black Head or Ballyreen may be worth a shot :)

    I always found ballyreen better for pollock. Only ever caught a few small pollock in black head but have caught hundreds of mackerel there. Ballyreen is a bit more contrary to fish though.
