Design a long list of links.

I have a page that contains lots of links - it could be anywhere up to 200. At the moment I have them in a ordered list. But its very long.

I will probably put a search at the top of the page to search them - but if not i would like a nice way of displaying all the links.

I looked at tag clouds but its not really suitable - as I need them ordered alphabetically.

Does anyone have any sugestions or even better - a link.

I cant use paging - looking for more of a design solution to display many links on a page - like a tag cloud.

But seriously, for that many links, categorisation/pagination is probably the way to go

Show us the links. It's hard to say without seeing the real content. Think about how people will want to view them and you'll find solutions.

How about using some expand/collapse divs?
If you have everything sorted into, say, 6 neat categories controlled by expand/collapse divs it would keep everything in order.

Or you could just use a dropdown list?
