    i have named my cars - my first car was called kenny 'cos he was orange and south park had just come out

    my second car was called Vincent Williams (VM Golf)

    and my current car is arabella because i was in the middle of a nervous breakdown at the time:D

    The only one of my posessions that has a name is my PC, and only because Windows looks for one when you install it. It is called Calculon in honour of Futurama :)

    We weren't allowed paint naked women on them like the pilots would though. Skulls were sometimes acceptable. Within those limits, you have to be creative when decorating your tank.

    What sort of bizarre comment was that?! Pilots and tankers have been naming and decorating their equipment since the first tank was called "Little Willie." Not many Iraqis involved in the trenches in Flanders. Choosing a name, and adding something uniquely personal like nose art is a long-standing tradition. Next you'll be saying that warships shouldn't have a girl's name and they shouldn't have a logo like the Roadrunner on the funnel.

    For the record, here's a picture of a tank which had a skull on it. (bottom right corner, on the smoke grenade box)
