I've no allegiance to any team. Did you actually think it was good? So bad. Two sh1t goals before a half decent one. I can't believe Liverpool spent 20 million on Stewart Downing. What a waster.

Everton never came out in the 2nd half. I don't actually think Liverpool upped their levels, Everton just seemed to bottle. Carroll was fantastic today though. Probably still won't get a extended run in the team to get his confidence though.

Two winners in two games for Andy Carroll, things might just be starting to click into place for him.

More seething. Liverpool got through, get over it.

You're assuming I'm not a Liverpool fan because I simply state the blindingly obvious?

Everton were poor and fair dues to Carroll and Pool today,But that game really was bad.2 epic fail goals anda set-piece to decide it.Maybe it was nerves for a few players but there were more poor performances than good out there today from both sides.

Delighted for him today. As much as he fails to live up to expectation, he ain't no Stuart Downing.

Didn't hear the announcer, but the final is certainly an early evening kick off as there are 3pm games the same day.

Jaysus, and they wonder why the FA Cup is losing it's glamour!

I thought the 2nd half was better and Liverpool deserved.

But you know, bad games happen from time to time;doesn't reflect on teams.

As for Carroll I hope he's 'arrived' now and will kick on from here!

Carroll was definitely MOTM tbf,Probably the best performance in a red shirt I've seen from him.Way to redeem himself after that big miss too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,883 ✭✭✭smokedeels

Huge goal for Carroll after his earlier miss, there's a decent player in him and it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. I think he has bought himself and Dalglish extra time at Liverpool.

Everton trying to see a game out after scoring in the first half while playing against a side with a 3rd choice keeper in goal and Jamie Carragher in the team is nothing short of stupid. I like them and their manager but they deserved what they got. Gutless.

Still cant judge a player for one year despite the money we paid for them , took guts and courage and great will for andy to still get in and score when he did against blackburn and today against everton.
Downing done well down the wing , henderson done his job today .
It was a team effort , now if we can end the season with two trophies i think its being great for what lfc have being through since tom hicks and george gillet left.
Despite our league form , kenny done a good job . We really need to look past the sum of money and this stage , if players do their job and give it their all even if they play **** for 89 mins and still go on to win it then im happy

    Delighted !! :)

Couldn't be happier for Carroll, fcuk the haters.

Another trip to Wembley, that's what it's all about.

Beating Everton to get there just makes it sweeter.

Delighted for Carroll, i havent seen a player get so much stick since Lucas, look how good he turned out to be.
Big Andy was superb for the last 25 mins, fair play to him, chuffed to bits for him.
Another Cup Final here we come :)

As a blue i cant argue with the result. Was 50/50 in the first half but we didn't appear in the second half. No bad refereeing decisions or excuses for me. We got what we deserved

At least you guys get to be happy with the league and the overall thrust of your season. Jelavic looks like a real catch by the way.

Massive week for Andy, didn't want Liverpool to win, but was happy to him get the winner, so late against Everton.

Only caught the second half, feel sorry for Distin, poor lad. Good enough second half.

Can't see liverpool winning the final against either of the other 2, but you never know.

Why we have beaten Chelsea already this season and gave taken a few scalps along the way in both cups. Generally agaisnt the top clubs we have played well so I see no reason why we don't have a chance to beat either of those two. We could defintely lose but there a strong possibility of a win.

    Stay classy.

I was actually happy to see Carroll get the winner. Although he will never be a world beater, he's a decent enough player and has got dogs abuse since moving to Liverpool.

Liverpool deserved the victory. Came out in the second half like a house on fire and Everton just couldn't get back in to it.
