Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

preventing stitches when running

I have started as part of my winter training running 5km runs at as much speed as I can to prepare myself for 800m later on. I've done 2 so far with the fastest being 22minutes 30 seconds and I could have gone faster. Anyway I have zero problems on the hills or flat but when I come near a downhill part I suffer. Every step down trying to control my descent seems to cause jarring up my stomach and gives me a stitch but I know if I let myself fly down it I'd be dead from the pace.
I haven't ran further than 500m intervals in over a year and a half so I'm unused to it,is there a technique for controlling your speed on descents and ensuring you won't get a stitch or jarring?
