    Hello,

Does anyone know why there's 100% more Omega 3 in M&S Sardines than the Aldi Sardines?.

    Aldi Sardines 100g:
    - 1.6 grams of Omega 3

    M&S Sardines 100g:
    - 2.3-6grams of Omega 3 (it was either 2.3grams or 2.6grams of Omega 3)

Now, I'm not trying to fuss, but because they're all Sardines, fished from the sea, why is there such a difference of Omega 3 content in the brands?.

    Any idea please ???

    Thank You.

Could be the method of preserving/canning ? But more likely the method of testing !
Any noticeable difference in quality/texture, ? I've never had the M&S ones...

Is one drained values and the other not?

Could it be the effect of the oil used for canning? Are they both in the same type of oil?
