Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

slow broadband over network

Hello, I seem to have a problem with my broadband. I have two computers running on a network. One is connected directly to my router and gets the correct broadband speed of around 10meg. The other is connected via a wireless network thingy and gets no more than 3 meg broadband speed. I have perfect signal with the wireless usb thing but my broadband speed is slow. Does anyone know why this might be? As far as im aware there are no viruses etc as ive run checks with AVG. Everything seems normal except for the internet speed on this computer. Im wondering if maybe the fact that NTL changed my net speed from 3 meg to 10 meg recently has anything to do with it as the other computer, the one with the right broadband speed has just been re formatted and windows re installed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wireless inherently exposes your connection to packet loss and interference. Check what other networks are around and if need be change your wifi channel.
