Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just out of interest anyone know what a army and Garda escort of 3 x HGV's with what looked like civilian drivers would be about? Seen this escort on the M50 going northbound on Monday last just before lunch.

Cool. Thought it was a strange sight and that's a sh1t load of money to fill 3 40ft trucks. Might just be for the Irish Water Staff bonuses ;-)

Fecking cutback mean we can't even fly the chopper now. Has to be towed to scenes! :D

This movement generally has 2 or 3 helis when it's moving. Last time I saw it there was 2 army copters with the Garda air support providing top cover above.
    It's rather impressive really

I think that there are less secure escorts for moving the paper than the money itself.

Bad news if the paper gets in to the hands of subversives, but actual cash would be an out and out disaster.

They normally fly the money in on a dedicated freighter aircraft,Me and the lads would normally joke about the money being the bond holder money,Also the operator of the trucks normally takes the decals of the trucks but anyone working in the industry know who they are.
