Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is her accent all over the place or am I going mad?

There's a hint of the tinker Flatley off her, well don't you know?

Just in, looks like I haven't missed much from a quick glance of the thread.

Joe sounds as interested as usual; i.e. not at all. Today's crossword in The Irish Times The Beano must be especially tough.

Maybe it's her Galway accent but it sounded like there were two "Dippos" either side of the Island which left me with a mental picture of a couple of blokes drinking buckfast in a brown bag with a rope holding up their trousers

Horatijoe is impressed with Margaret's investigative skills. He's noting these for the next time he finds litter in Clontarf.

Im out. Im only getting annoyed listening to that wagon and her hand wringing and the council and their underhanded actions regarding dumping. Fining people for dumping for leaving a cardboard box next to a bottle bank.

Making mental note here to burn all receipts. Never know when they might come back to haunt me even though i have bins and pay for waste disposal. All it takes is for one to blow off in the wind somewhere.

Am I right in thinking that they have managed a grand total of 34 topics this week so far?
    1. Fire
    2. Rubbish
    3. Weather
    4. School on the 6th

That'll be Joe's advice alright. Then someone will want to return something and they won't have a receipt……..

Next thing there will be some or other regulation against burning paper in your own stove or fireplace. There must be an opening for a quango.

And so the polish lad rang the flower brigade, not the fire brigade because I just said the brigade. Oh how we laughed.

I was wondering at this too. I had visions of a unit of the ra turning up. The poles would know what brigade meant but not fire.
