Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When all around him fell away, Pastor Maldonado survived the Singapore Grand Prix, and finished in 12th place. Well done Pastor!

He tried so hard yesterday to **** things up. Almost felt sorry for him that he didnt succeed in crashing.

The way Verstappen overtook him, showed how talented Verstappen is and what a clown Maldonado.

    Harsh enough.

Just staying in the Singapore GP alone shows a driver is at least some bit competent. Very tough track.

He is to F1 what a learner driver in Dublin city centre is to Irish traffic. A liability.

If he didnt bring bags of money, he wouldnt even be karting.

The only reason he hasnt crashed more this season is that his car breaks down before he can.
They didnt start a website for him without a reason.

Having a **** monday but i am still holding back :D
    I could get harsher.

    This explains it pretty well.

Formula 1 forum here might have something about it as well.

But to be honest... without guys like Maldonado Formula 1 would have a lot less teams

Pastor Maldonado finished 8th place in the Japanese GP. Pastor won 4 points for his team. He now has two back to back finishes for the first time since records began. Well done Pastor!

Hi jacking this a little bit.

Big chance of rain this weekend in Austin.

Max Verstappen likes rain as the quality of the driver gets more important than the power of the car.
Cant remember if there has been a race with lots of rain this season but i do know that every time training and qualifying was in the rain, he was very much at the front.

So... Verstappen to finish in the top six at 6/1 looks nice with also in mind that TR has spent some allocated points on upgrading the engine. Which in itself might already good enough for top 6.

Small on 50/1 for podium in case it is raining the full race.

    More here

10 laps to go and Verstappen is in 3rd.....

    Edit:

Safety car brought everybody together and Verstappen couldnt hold Vettel in a Ferrari behind him but finished 4th.

Pity of that @41 but i am satisfied.

Unfortunately for Maldonado, the Venezuelan earned a reputation as someone prone to being involved in incidents.

I think the writer wanted to settle the price for understatement of the year 2016 quick and safe.

Well, we just might have his successor

Stroll has crashed 3x (might be 2) now in 3 days of testing.

I'd say the bookies already have that factored into their pricing, and that he'll be odds-on to crash out in Australia. :o
