Font sizes in Calendar Programme in Windows Vista 2007

Calendar will not print to correct font size e.g. Arial 12 - There is a huge jump in the font size from Arial 21 to Arial 22 and even Verdana 40 prints very small. My printer is HP Deskjet 1280. Any help would be gratefully received.
