Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need to get from City West to Grand Canal station for 5pm today. I thought about going along the canal, can anyone tell me if this is a good idea or give me a better route?

    Thanks

Canal won't be any good as it's usually standstill, Fred; you also spend an age getting to it. Try this route, it should get you there in less than an hour and isn't too bad for bottlenecks....

Citywest to Fortunestown Lane, first exit at the roundabout at Molly's, then straight to the Tallaght By Pass. Take the by pass straight on, cross the M 50, straight until you come to the end of the dual carriageway.

At the lights here, take a left onto Wainsford Road and head straight down this road all the way to KCR, keep straight until you eventually cross the canal. Go straight over here and go to Leonards Corner (Xtravision is the landmark) onto the South Circular Road.

Keep straight till Kelly's Corner, then right onto Charlotte Way (Camden Court Hotel) and then over the Luas to Hatch Street. At the NCH, take a right onto Earlsford Terrace, then Adelaide Road and your at Leeson Street. Take a right here, then immediate left onto Wilton Place and head straight down till the very end, take a right onto Grand Canal Street and left onto Barrow Street and your there! :)

You could get Luas + DART.
