Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They do this between all their ad breaks. Some of them are bloody odd messages to say the least!

They all appear to be copying the messages that popped up before Fight Club

It's comedy central trying to be funny. And succeeding tbh.

They had a very odd one back when bin laden was killed. I wasn't sure if it was intentional or if some intern had done it...

Twas discussed before. I think the idea is that you'll sky+ it to see what it says and by the time you've read it, the ad break will be over and you can go back to watching the programme instead of perhaps switching channels.

.... if that makes any sense...

But then you wouldn't watch the delicious advertising

Doesn't make sense to be honest!

Television channels are there to deliver an audience to advertisers, not to deliver programs to an audience (people very commonly fail to consider this). Who would spend thousands of euros advertising on a channel that was actively trying to divert viewers away from the commercials?
