Tablet via hdmi to TV,cant scroll pages?

    I got a cheap Chinese tablet, a Zenithink z280 c91. It connects to TV via hdmi and picture is very good,Netflix,Youtube etc running really well.
    When I connect tablet,screen goes blank and picture appears on TV with a cursor which I can move by touching tablet screen. However I cant seem to scroll up or down pages,the cursor will just float around whatever page I'm on. So,in order to scroll,I have to disconnect hdmi,picture appears back on tablet and I scroll that way. Is there any way around this?
