Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
    I'm considering hiring a RV/Campervan in the West Coast USA - for a possible 2 week trip around California, Nevada, Arizona.

    I'd love to hear from anyone who has done it with suggestions as to
    * what company/s are best to hire from.
    * what camp sites to stay at.
    * what areas to avoid.
    * any tips, suggestions, ideas.

    Thank you

    Have a look on Motorhomecraic.com- there's a whole forum dedicated to American motorhomes and RVs so you might have more luck there.

    Eh - USA - not Australia
    Thanks

    Used Apollo travelling across Australia a few years ago and found them quite good.
    They do operate in the US as well

    First link, they don't have that many good offers at the moment but earlier in the year they were giving 10-14 days to drive from denver to san francisco including $500 fuel.

    Hi MammaZita
    No luck there I'm afraid. That Website ( Motorhomecraic) has a forum for it but very little info re actual USA campervanning experiences as such.
    I'm using Tripadviser too and that's a lot more detailed.

    Thank you

    Hi again
    Got that thanks - yes I've been checking Apollo USA too.

    Sorry about that- never actually went into the forum. Yes the Tripadvisor forum would be a lot more useful and relevant to you.
