Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know how to tell which shires mixer shower you have? Should it be marked somewhere on it?

I don't think I can put up pictures as I have not done enough posts on the site.

    Can you describe it?

Is it a Bath/Shower Mixer or Wall Mounted Shower Valve?

It is a wall mounted shower mixer. It has 2 control valves the top is flow and the bottom is the temperate.

Just found a picture of a shires solent and it looks the very same as the one I have except my one has a red button and it has a grey one.

Yes except for the colour of the button. Does that make a difference?

No, they will have a red button alright. It's a discontinued product though. What are you looking for off it?

I think it needs a new cartridge. It is just luke warm. No matter how hot the Water in the cylinder is.
