Cottage(s) for up to 12 lads!

Anyone got any recommendations for a cottage or house to accommodate up to 12 lads? We're in our 40s so not exactly stag material!!! A few of us are back from Australia and wanted to get together to play some golf and go to a local pub. I'd want it for up to 3 nights in early April. Somewhere fairly remote (west coast) would be nice. Also, looking for a house that has lots of single beds (we're not that close as friends!)

you mightnt get one house with such a massive amount of beds, BUT thanks to Berties handouts to his rich friends seaside property tax breaks which cost the state billions over the years (and to be fair created a lot of short term employment in the back end of beyond creating houses which now mainly lie empty) - theres plenty of seaside villages with disproportionately large holiday home estates that you could get 2 or 3 adjacent places which would do the trick.

somewhere like Enniscrone in sligo might be the job. Its small but theres still enough options to eat and drink and theres a golf course plus swimming pool there to keep you occupied when not going for romantic strolls on the beach! (ahem).
If you havent a car then you can train it to Ballina from Dublin and then its 15km or so by bus or taxi(which would be similar cost to bus if you have 3 or 4 anyhow).

Agree with the observations above. If a rental house with that much accommodation does exist, it's likely to involve bunk beds which wouldn't suit a bunch of men in your age group. Try for a bunch of smaller cottages in a resort or some of the larger hotels in Cork and Kerry have lodges that can be rented so you can have a bit of privacy but the facilities of a large hotel on your doorstep. An alternative would be a large B&B like the Courtyard in Bunratty.

Thanks a million for all the suggestions! I'll certainly check these. I was looking at Enniscrone as an option yesterday and it might suit.
