Spinning set up. What reel?

I got a really nice shimano spinning rod:Aerocast SAC27H - 270, 9 foot, 20-50g casting weight

Anyway, I wanted to get a reel to match it. I never actually bought a rod and reel just for spinning, but that's what this set up will only be used for.
So, what I want to know, do I need to buy a reel that matches the rod perfectly? Will it make casting easier if I get it balanced right? Or should I just get the lightest reel for my budget and line type? I reckon I'll set it up with 10 pound line.

Don't think you can get a better or smoother reel for spinning than a Shimano baitrunner. You would probably be looking at the 6000 GTB to suit your rod.
They are pricy but well worth it.

Shimano would be my number 1 too.
After that ABU / DAIWA.

I have a Baitrunner-XT-8000-RA at the moment and it's a fantastic reel. Really smooth, but it's used purely for trolling now. Possibly worming the odd time.
I did a lot of research last night on reels, and even in USA shimano are the reels with the highest regard. Check out the Stella, they're top of the range spinning reel:
