    hey lads, i need cat for merc. I went to one workshop and they said it will cost me 680eu with work. i was like okay, fair enought. It for not original cat, not universal.

    So after 1h he calling me back, and said not even one supplier can get a cat for merc clk200!!! :( . He told me that i need to get original from dealer for 1100eu!!!

    Lads wount cat from e200 will fit in? thats same engines i think...

    1100eu only for cat is taking a piss lads :(.

    doesn't sound overly expensive to me and also its a merc, one should come to expect this especially for orig parts.

    yeah, but like they can get a cat for any merc for +/-400eu. And now for clk i have to go original for 1100eu, i know its merc, but this isreally insane.

    how did you got from them? did you got as private person or business? What they do? do they just delever it? or have some collection points m8?

    Yeah, there are four: a triple and a single; you might not need to replace both. Around €1200 would be standard for OEM.

    I registered a few months back - seems they have tightened up a little! - Still a friendly mechanic should be able to help here - I got my cat with 3 days...
