Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Locally Alltech (beside the lights near Penny's) sell some components but I'd say you'd be better off buying online. Try the PC Building & Upgrading Forum if you're looking to put a build together.

I work in a sales/repair shop in Athlone, again, we generally don't stock high end items like motherboards or processors, only order them in as requested. When it comes into individual components like motherboards or processor's you're just better buying online than stock from a shop, "up to date" could be sitting on the shelf for 6 months, yes they're perfect for repairs, not so good when someone wants to build a mid-high end gaming pc or such.

If you've enough knowledge/experience to fit it yourself, go the online route as suggested already - you'll get the parts faster and save money. Otherwise a local shop could order in the parts and fit them. Generally speaking, most repair shops would only keep a small stock of RAM and HDDs/SSDs.
