Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dell Insprion 17" laptop

    Can anybody tell me if this laptop is anygood. Not very tech savvy at all but just looking for a decent laptop to do general web browsing, word/excel documents and some PowerPoint presentation and general college work etc. not looking for anything special but do not want a slouch laptop that will be no goid in a year or two.

    it has a pentium so wont be the quickest.

    for what you need it will be perfect. ive had a dell inspiron for years. it was my main computer at home for about 6 years. worked fine for general web browsing and for word/excel. it did start getting a little slow then but in fairness i was using it to download heaps of torrents. ive brought it up to work for the last 3 years and it still works ok. after 9 years it is pretty much on its last legs, but for the very basics it works fine.
