Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey music lovers,

Kathleen Edwards plays Whelans next Tues night - €15 entry.
She supported Josh Ritter on tour in Nov last year.
Best described as "Roots - Rock", she has an amazing voice, that is so raw with emotion, she just has to be seen live.
Latest album, Back To Me, has got great reviews in all press:
One of the must see gigs for next week...

Music that hits the spot immediately and then gets better with each listen. .. a recognisable sound-guitar driven folk rock, imaginative and reflective themes and a very measured, assured voice. Very impressive. THE TICKET, IRISH TIMES ****

She excels at love songs stitched with drawn-from-life details: copied keys, unanswered phones, the detritus that litters the no man’s land between men and women. Back To Me groans with sweet-but-embittered songs. - HOT PRESS 8 out of 10.

Edwards sound is one which minces the rehearsal room rock vibe of Sheryl Crow with a vocal that echoes the vulnerable croons of Aimee Mann. Check out the title track jangle for a taste of Canadian splendour. - IN DUBLIN MAGAZINE

Edwards can play the aching troubadour ('Away') and the country heartbreaker ('Old Time Sake') as well as rocking every bit as hard as the inimitable (Lucinda) Williams. She's dynamite live too. - UNCUT ****
