Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HDMI lead for Samsung Smart TV

    Hi all,

Just purchased a new Samsung smart TV today and realised that it hasn't got Adobe Flash. Obvious solution is to hook up my laptop to the TV via HDMI lead however as I've never done this before can someone let me know if I should buy a certain quality cable? I have a few HDMI leads around but not sure if they are suitable. The TV in question is a 48 inch full HD 1080p TV.

    Thanks in advance.

    They'll be fine at 1080p.

Edit* Any you've got like, they'll do the job

Hdmi is a digital protocol. It's all or nothing. The only people who will tell you with a straight face that there are 'good' cables or 'bad' cables, are cable salesmen. Not mentioning any *Curry's* names. ;)

If a hdmi cable works, it works. If the cables you have are in working order, they'll be grand.
