Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys, on a Saturday night (not a bank holiday) near the Nook, around 10, 1030, or 11pm what is the best way of getting a taxi, phone, hailing or is there a taxi office nearby.

    thanks.

How far are you going? There's minibuses around town at that hour, should just be able to hail them on the street. They might not take you to the country if they're busy with fares around town, but you could book in advance if you need. If you don't see any passing, ring one of the offices and they'll send a bus up.

Only going up the road to the Walter Raleigh..... which is better, hail a taxi or ring for one..

Oh just hail one passing, it's €4 anywhere in town. If it's lashing, ring one, but generally they pass pretty often anyway and are rarely full before pubs closing.
