Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

My step daughter is due to sit her driving test in a week. She just realised that her 3rd provisional is expired. What should she do before she goes to sit her test because I know they won't allow her to sit it if licence is expired.

    Thanks in advance :)

I had the exact same situation, test was on the 8th and it expired on the 2nd, I just went in to the motor tax office and renewed it as normal (35e now rather than 20) and explained to them how my test was in a few days, she said she'd post the license out that very day and it arrived the next morning.

Unfortunately with the introduction of the new credit card size driving licence I don't think it is possible to get 1 in such short notice. I don't think the Motor Tax office have a facility now to issue licences as they are all done centrally. Ring them first thing this morning to see what turn around time is.
