Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've heard of girls going out and buying 'wes dresses' but I don't know what they look like and where you can buy them. I heard you can buy good dresses for 'wes' in Lipsy but what else would a girl wear to 'wes'?
I know girls that go to these discos sometimes have a reputation for being a little slutty but I know a lot of girls that go to them and aren't..eh hemm..slutty at all

Any ideas of what I could wear for a night out at 'wes'?
    Thanks in advance! ;)

Well Old wesley is over 18s so sure you'd have some idea?
But for regular wezz yeah those Lipsy dresses are lovely but too expensive for wezz, they have copies of them in penneys/dunnes and they're perfect. Wear a dress and heels :)
    Have fun!

Old Wezz is over 16, back 2 wezz is over 18. Just wear a dress, you can get suitable dresses in Swamp or Noname in Stephen's Green, Lipsy does some lovely dresses in Topshop, but they can be a bit pricey.

Lipsy is a good place to start tbh, short and glittery is usually the norm. Also try Sugababe on Henry st for the slightly cheaper carbon copies

I assume you would be going with your friends, why dont you ask them?

    Old wes though...facepalm

Dont wear a Lipsy dress if u don't want to be wearing the same thing as about 50 other girls...everybody has them.

Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. Old Wezz is less slutty than baby wezz. Personally I'd go for a dress/skirt, u could wear tights/leggings if you don't want to bare your legs in the cold. Most girls going to Wezz wear stuff from Swamp, all those shops in the Ilac + Henry St, Topshop + River Island. Alot of people goin wear neon too. Otherwise go dressed as a knacker, i used to do that sometimes + its always good fun + cheap!:)

What on earth is wezz? In Kerry we just have teeny bopper discos in community halls in the countryside down some bohereen.

Its a famous enough teeny disco on the South Side of Dublin.

Emsylee, as others have said a lot wear dresses from Lipsy. They can be quite expensive. I've seen some good copies in the likes of Penneys and Miss Selfridge. Also, keep a look out in The Arnotts Project in Jervis S.C. as they sell Lipsy dresses there and sometimes have great sales on. I got a Lipsy dress reduced to €40 one time.

Also, heels - the bigger the better. Penneys are doing deadly ones at the moment. Or New Look is great for massively high heels.

I know at the discos here a lot of young 'wans' wear vest tops and skirts which are cute and also handy because you can mix and match! Keep an eye out in the river island sale, if you check out the website you'll see all the ones that are going to be on sale, theres a nice silk pink one and a body con one! also swamp kind of shops are good because their buyers often try to replicate the styles in the more expensive shops so you get lots of nice dresses!

as for shoes I'd say heels because everyone likes to dress up in them! maybe bring flats as well for when it's over because your feet will be in bits!
