Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love the 20 over version of the game.

Some run chase this morning from the Hobart Hurricanes. The Brisbane Heat post 208 and the Canes chase it down with an over to spare!!!

Really clever catch there from Luke Wright just now in the Stars v Renegades game

Some finish to that Melbourne derby, I was cheering for a super over!!

Incredible catch just inside/outside the boundary rope there in the Sydney Thunder vs Melbournes Stars match!

Cameron White hits it high into the air. Josh Laylor fielding just in from the boundary has to move back quickly. He leaps into the air to catch the ball. He knows his momentum is taking him over the rope so throws the ball up and back into the field of play. Both feet then hit the ground outside the rope. He jumps back infield to complete the catch

I'm sure it will be on Youtube later on, but what amazing quick thinking and a brilliant catch

Thunder are going to lose regardless mind!!

Unreal run chase from the Stars there, they are coming to the boil nicely now.

Another ridiculous finish in the sixers game. They needed 56 or something close to it off the last three overs and they got it!!

That was pathetic from Tye. 6 slower balls in a row and he couldn't connect with one!

With the keeper back, why didn't he just run? Scandalous really how seldom the keeper hits the stumps in situations like that.

    Good for the bowler though.

Probably the best finish of all this morning. Need 1 run from 3 balls and in Brett Lee's last game.

He hits the stumps on third last ball and hits the stumps again on the second last.

Scorchers need 1 from 1 and Arafet hits one straight to a fielder who makes a good throw but the skipper Henriques botches the run out when Arafat was a mile gone. Deserved a super over!!

Ponting has been awesome on commentary, Sky or TMS should try and get him for the Ashes, much better than Mc Grath or the abysmal Warne.

Ponting is a natural. Channel 9 is where I want him to improve my winters.

With Warne it depends who he is on with. He works well with Nasser. He can be annoying but his anecdotes and sense of humour usually redeem him.

Warne is not my cup of tea, it's just all about him, game is secondary. Ponting is the polar opposite. Class act.

Depends who he's on with, works well you Nasser, not so much with Beefy. I get your point though.

Yeah I think Botham is similar to Warne in that regard, he has a certain love for himself as well. Think he can be quite disrespectful to other commentators at times.

God I sound like an even older fupper than I actually am.

England Cricket should learn something from the Big Bash though, a great example of t20 tournament, much better than the never ending story that is the IPL.

Go down the franchise route? Warwickshire being called the Birmingham Bears last year annoyed me, I don't think I could handle whatever silly names they come up with.

I'm all for condensing the IPL. Sky have it now so I might even watch some of it this year.

Franchise cricket wouldn't do my team any favours but t20 in England has gone very flat, and the idea that more games make it appealing isn't ringing true,so maybe try something different. It's a foregone conclusion very early on in the tournament for a considerable number of teams that they can't qualify that it creates little/no buzz (since they changed the league aspect of the tournament)

Regardless, one of the few games Northants won last campaign was against the Birmingham Bears so I have a soft spot for that name!

I used to start watching ipl on itv4, but just got bored in the end, no sky for me and don't think I'd bother streaming it.
