Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a rumour doing the rounds that when Obama drank in Moneygall, the secret service removed his Guiness glass from the pub so that it couldn't be used to gather DNA or fingerprints.

The fingerprints bit wouldn't actually suprise me, as the US can be ultra-paranoid, but if they were trying their utmost to protect his DNA, then he'd have to be wrapped in clingfilm all the time. Ever see how many hands he shakes at public events? Every single one of those people could "steal" his DNA.

It's too implausible IMO. People aren't that individual that you could create a personal bioweapon that will kill them and harm no-one else. What poisons the guy next to me, most likely will poison me too, unless he has a very specific allergy.

A drop of blood is taken from everyone born in this stage for the heel prick test. The drop is then stored. This has been going on since 1966.

A flood destroyed the records so they now only have a DNA sample for everyone born since 1984.

The problem is we are dealing with American political 'morality' here. They think nothing of murdering the entire population of a village using a drone in order to get one suspected 'bad guy'.

What makes you think they would be any less trigger happy with bio weapons?

That's the entirely my point. Why go to the trouble of creating surreptitious weapons to just kill one guy when you can just drop some heavy ordinance in there and blow him to ****?

Stark contrast there with Bill Clinton, He was lobbing his DNA all over chubby girls with big hair without a care for national security!
