Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a guy in Cornamaddy (out the Ballymahon/Cavan Road) who used to fix them. I'll try to dig up his name & number

Depends on the make, but many are now made with "sealed" drums.
This means that the unit is assembled with one time fixings that make it impossible to dismantle without destroying the fixing lugs, just have to hope the fault is eleswhere.

This fella fixes electrical appliances, he fixed my whirlpool oven a while back and was able to source a part for me for very cheap. I'd highly recommend him...

Try looking up Pat Egan, I dont have his number handy but he is in the phone book.

He is good on price and does a very good standard of work. We use him for any problems we have and he has never let us down.
