Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These are supposed to be hidden til NAMM.

I'm not impressed by anything except the M-II with EMGs and the 7 string Viper

    Heh. It's beautiful. Active 81's I assume?

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,361 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

Emg 707's. Same as the Emg 85 but for a 7 string.

I meant the seven-string version of an 81. Sorry. The 85 is a much more bluesy sound than the 81 if I remember correctly. Not sure I like that in a Viper...

It's a more middy pickup. Have it in the neck position on my guitar. Fantastic sound.

The 81-7 is really hard to get. Only $100 each though :D

That's what I meant. It's more of a neck position kind of pickup. I'd feel the need to swap out the bridge one for an 81-7 I'm afraid.
