Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm doing a course in Textiles Level 4 with Felting and Batik as modules.

Its through Kilkenny Area Partnership and its in South Kilkenny, but it started in Sept last year.

The tutor has a studio in Carlow and may run courses. I can pass on her details if you like.

just wondering, sounds interesting, and i cannot find a link online to it, have you any links to it, please?

I dont know, I only found out about it by chance just as last year's course was ending, so, I joined this year.

Of course these things are all funding dependant but I think it will run again Sept to March next year.

This our tutor and some of the work from the group is featured there.

Christina Jasmin Roser is a felter based in Durrus, West Cork who does beginner workshops (1/2 or 1 day workshops). Her website is http://www.christinajasminroser.com/

The Cork Textile Network (http://www.corktextiles.com/) would probably have contact details of other felters and might know where classes are taking place.

thanks for the links, I've just been browsing Mairead's blog, lovely community work going on there,
I've discovered Limerick Institute of Technology has some daytime and evening part-time courses , the daytime are Fetac, the eveningtime not Fetac, so I'll just have to wait and think about it and see how things go...
    thanks!
