Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Have one of these boilers and noticed for the past couple of days the timer on it has stopped working completely. If i manually move the timer to switch on, the heating/hot water works ok, but the timer does not move automatically.

    I'm assuming the timer on it has had it ... so is it easy enough to replace or is there an alternative to spring some life back into the timer

    have this problem at the moment. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Is it a loose connection or need a replacement timer?

    just gave the timer a good rattle and insured all connections were secure and timer has kicked in again. Wil monitor for next few days to see if it keeps working. Thanks.

    These timers are notorious for seizing, usually will need replacement

    I often have to replace them. There available from Firebird via plumbing supplys, or oil service engineer.

    Alternative is a plug in timer if power supply is off a plug & socket.
    Leave boiler switch on 24h setting.
