Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought about posting that 406 but it it's older than mine with roughly the same NCT and well over double the price I paid :pac:

Rav4 from 96 with NCT til next year. Asking 895 but I'm sure some haggling would lend itself to something.

    Maybe, what do I know?

    View2-15157142.jpeg

This is a no brainer. Tax til well into next year and NCT. 995 but again, tax is worth a fair chunk of that.

Pity they have no low-box - would make a fun off-road toy otherwise :(

    Great minds eh? :pac:

That is a dirt cheap price all the same for estate motoring.

You'd really need to see that 3 series in the flesh. From the pics, it looks like the front tyres are in need of a change. The colour looks pretty nice, but I notice there's an after market spoiler on the back, which looks a bit naff. There was a great looking 325ci here not that long back, for about 2500ish if i recall correctly, that looked a million times better.
Don't forget the Lexus lights, cloth seats, tape deck and no aircon.
Not sure about those early e46s and nikasil either.
Looks like a diffing machine shir!

That would be running a M54, which didn't suffer from nikasil issues.

But you're right, didn't cop the no aircon craic. Lets be honest though, the e46 is a pretty strong car, but at that mileage you can bank on it needing work. I was quite taken by the colour all the same!

I really like this... If you bagged it for €1250 and got it taxed and NCT'd for 6 months then its very nice motoring for under €2k IMO.

Looks like seating from a 1980's Kazakh Airlines passenger jet.

That raised my suspicion. Selling a car with short NCT and only interested in buying one with long NCT

Perhaps he suspects the car won't pass the test? For around what he is asking for, I would demand a fresh test or walk away. Wouldn't even bother having a closer look :)

good post, but the sellers misinformed, as this car will always need an nct to be legal.

Anything I should be looking out for if I was going to see this? Are there any known faults? Also, roughly what sort of MPG are these going to get? I'm not overly bothered about that but it's a big issue for the missus.

    Many thanks.

Not a very nice colour but 97 A4 with NCT 5/13 for €500

    View2-14668457.jpeg

There's no price up on this one but it's a 2.8L Merc with Private Tax until 9/13! NCT 4/13. I think it's private tax anyway, putting the plate into the MotorTax site comes up with an annual cost of 1294 vs the <100 psv tax. It would surely be bought for less than 1k.

There was no Kazakh Airlines in the 80s as there was no free Kazakh State back then. The only airline in whole Soviet Union was Aeroflot and they had Ty-154 and Ty134 and some more that as far as I know are jet planes. They even had Ty-144 which was analog to Concorde (or opposite).

Yeah your right actually. I just kind of put a price on it without comparing it with similar. I'm just used to seeing bmw 7'ers and the like in here for around the 1 - 1.5k mark. Still though the market for a car like that is pretty non existent so it would depend on how badly the seller needs it gone I guess!

Reads to me like he thinks its worth a lot. Silly ad though IMO.
    Still, Lovely jammer.

Just went down to see it. One owner, no service history at all. No history or receipts for the TB being done. Oil leaking from the gearbox. Bulbs gone in the speedo. Thermostat gauge not working. Spare tyre & jack missing.

Thought the engine power could have been better. Had a VRS a few months ago so comparing it to that

Biggest concern would be the leaking gearbox. Would it be costly to repair?

    €700 takes it

yeah, its gas isn't it, a 1 owner car and the 1 owner could'nt manage to pop reciepts for services/parts into the glovebox over the years.....if he spend any money on the car at all that is.......
